Covering Guns, A Poynter Workshop (GUN2-13)

Seminar
07/10-07/12

This workshop has a simple goal: to improve the accuracy and depth of coverage of America’s gun debate, without deference to any political agenda or special interests. Our goal is to help journalists learn more about guns and gun laws through practical, hands-on experience and expert teaching.

The workshop will include a field trip to a gun range. Support from the Scripps Howard Foundation, the Scripps Howard News Service and Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation is helping cover the cost of this seminar and covering the participants’ range fees.
