Nico Guerrero has held various positions since she joined the the Poynter staff in 2000. Currently, she is the Human Resources Manager. Nico has a B.A. in Human Resources Administration from St. Leo University and has her PHR certification. When Nico is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and fearless terrier.

Vanessa Goodrum is an Interactive Learning Producer for News University. She has more than 14 years of Web development experience, ranging from interface design to production to project planning and management. Vanessa has a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design, and a Master’s of Education with a focus on Educational Technology from the University of Florida.

Bobbi Alsina has worked at The Poynter Institute since 1987, and the St. Petersburg Times and Evening Independent newspapers, 1983-1987 and 2002-2003. She is the assistant to the president at Poynter. She was assistant to three deans at Poynter and a program assistant for leadership, broadcast, writing and ethics. She was assistant to the executive vice president at the Times and secretary to the editor at the Independent. Previously, she worked at Freedom Savings and Loan as operations supervisor, Fairwinds Travel as an agent, and at Allstate Insurance and Allstate Finance.

Vicki Krueger is manager at Poynter’s News University. She has spent more than 20 years as a copy editor at newspapers and other publications and is the author of Cleaning Your Copy – a self-directed module that consistently is ranked as one of the most popular at Poynter’s News University.

She has helped produce “Best Newspaper Writing,” the annual collection of the ASNE Distinguished Writing Award winners and finalists, as well as other Poynter publications.
