Justine Griffin is a business reporter for the Tampa Bay Times and the vice president of the Journalism & Women Symposium. Griffin covers a wide range of beats, from retail and tourism to transportation and real estate, at the Times. She has covered business news at daily newspapers across Florida. She most recently worked as the assistant projects editor at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, where she used her admirable digital and social media skills to engage readers with the paper’s most ambitious projects. There Griffin also lead efforts to launch a digital magazine aimed at young professionals. She gained national attention when she wrote a first-person narrative about her experience as an egg donor. The story won many local, regional and national journalism awards. Griffin is an avid equestrian and a regular contributor to international equestrian publications.
