James Holton, of Indian Shores, is the president of Holton Companies, a Florida-based real estate development company and investment firm. He has previously served as Chairman of the Florida Transportation Commission and as a member of the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors.
He has served as a board member at the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research and the Pinellas County’s Police Athletic League. Nationally, he is a member of the Board of Directors for Drug Free America. He also is the past president of the Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce (1986-1987).
He received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and his law degree from Boston University.
