Emmanuel Vincent

Emmanuel M. Vincent is a project scientist with University of California, Merced’s Center for Climate Communication and founder and project lead of ClimateFeedback.org, which organizes a global network of scientists to review influential climate change information and provide public feedback to editors about coverage accuracy.

He completed a doctorate at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France) and a post-doctoral fellowship at MIT, studying how the ocean controls hurricane intensity and how hurricanes can, in turn, influence the climate via their interaction with the ocean.

He joined the University of California, Merced, to help the scientific community play a leading role in providing the public with accurate information about climate change.
