David Shedden is the library director at the Poynter Institute’s Eugene Patterson Library.
He also serves as a researcher for the Institute and as a contributor to various online resources about Poynter and the transformation of journalism. Current projects include the Poynter Timeline and Transformation Timeline.
He holds a B.A. degree in mass communications, an M.A. in Library Science, and an M.A. in history from the University of South Florida.
