Christopher Pizzo is a senior vice president with Deloitte CRG. With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Pizzo has advised management teams, creditors, private equity groups and boards of directors in many aspects of distressed businesses and financial restructurings. He has helped boards of directors to establish strategic direction, implement business plans, debt and equity financings, M&A, recapitalizations and restructurings. To date, he has been involved with transactions in excess of $2 billion in both private and public markets.
Prior to joining Deloitte CRG, Mr. Pizzo was a managing director at an investment banking and transaction advisory services firm. In this capacity, he originated and led client engagements including M&A, debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and restructurings. In addition, Mr. Pizzo originated and led due diligence engagements for financial institutions. He began his career in audit and advisory services at an accounting and consulting company, and has also served as audit manager in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at another Big Four firm.
Mr. Pizzo holds an M.B.A. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.S. from The State University of New York at Albany.
