Arthur Gregg Sulzberger
A.G. Sulzberger is the deputy publisher at The New York Times. Until recently, he was an associate editor, overseeing newsroom strategy and working with leaders across the company to plan and execute The Times’ digital transition.
The early work of his team included leading the implementation of the recommendations of The Times’ Innovation Report, which was produced by a group he led. The widely cited report focused on emerging trends affecting the media business.
Sulzberger joined The Times in 2009 and has worked as a reporter and editor on the metro desk. He also spent two years as a national correspondent, reporting on the Great Plains as head of the The Times’ Kansas City Bureau. Previously, he was a reporter at The Providence Journal and The Oregonian. He graduated Brown University in 2003.
