Alexandra Garcia is an Emmy-winning video journalist for The Washington Post. She produces multimedia packages including video, audio, photography and 360° panoramas. In 2010, her style series “Scene In” was awarded a regional Emmy, an AASFE award and first place in the NPPA Best of Photojournalism Contest. In 2009, she was awarded the Concentra Award for Outstanding Video Journalism for “The Healing Fields: Hidden Hurt,” which documented a three-day health clinic that offers medical attention to patients who are not likely to see another doctor or dentist all year.
