Judy Woodruff, a pioneering broadcast journalist who has spent more than three decades at NBC, CNN and PBS, will be honored at Poynter’s annual Bowtie Ball. She will receive the Poynter Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism for her award-winning work and her contributions to the craft.

This special event will also feature Poynter’s Distinguished Service to Journalism Award recipient Paul Steiger, founder of Pro Publica and former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal.
